In 1977, the Windsurfing Club Jade e.V. (WCJ) was founded and, after initially homeless surfing,
was given the opportunity to lease a multi-purpose building from the city. So in 1983, after hard work, 
he inauguration at Banter See was celebrated and the rental agreement for the “Surfer’s Home” was signed.
